Dr. Selin Sena Yılmaz

Biography

Dr. Selin Sena Yılmaz is a Pediatric Dentistry Specialist dedicated to promoting lifelong oral health and creating positive dental experiences for children. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Başkent University Faculty of Dentistry and completed her specialty and PhD training in Pediatric Dentistry at Ege University, where she developed a strong foundation in both clinical practice and academic research.

Since 2018, Dr. Yılmaz has been serving children and families at Ceylin Yılmaz Dental Clinic in Fethiye, where she co-manages a multidisciplinary practice. In addition to her clinical work, she has worked as a Research Assistant and PhD Fellow at Ege University’s Department of Pediatric Dentistry, contributing to dental education, supervising students, and participating in scientific research and publications.

Her professional interests include preventive pediatric dentistry, restorative treatments for primary and permanent teeth, dental trauma management, space maintainers, molar incisor hypomineralization (MIH), esthetic restorations, and behavior guidance techniques for children. She is particularly passionate about helping young patients feel comfortable and confident during dental visits, ensuring that each child receives individualized and compassionate care.

Dr. Yılmaz has presented her work at numerous national and international scientific congresses and has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in the field of pediatric dentistry.

Combining evidence-based dentistry with a warm and child-friendly approach, Dr. Yılmaz strives to make every dental visit a positive experience while helping children build healthy smiles that last a lifetime.
